Hotel De l’Europe - one of the loveliest/swishiest hotels in the whole wide world - has just revealed said world’s most extravagant hotel stay, coming in at €‎1.25 million. The title pretty much gave that away, right?

It’s all to celebrate the Amsterdam hotel’s 125th anniversary, and you’re getting a whole load of bang for your buck/Euro, including a total takeover of the hotel, all 106 rooms of it. Which translates as 212 guests. Which works out at €‎5,896 each. You pay that for your weekly shop down Tesco’s these days!
